Kate - bred A2 jersey IN MILK $3,800
Kate is a 3yr old standard jersey cow. She is A2/A2 and currently in milk giving a little over a gallon a day with once a day milking. We have milked her for the past 10 months and at her peak, she was giving 4 gallons per day. Her production could be increased with twice a day milking. Kate is the perfect beginner cow! You will not find an easier cow to learn on. She comes running when you call her name and after she learns your milking schedule, she will be at the gate waiting for you. You can machine milk her or hand milk her, she has great hand milking teats. We’ve also raised other calves on her! She does have Wry nose (curve in her nose) but that does not affect a thing, other than add a little character.
Ready for the best part?? She is confirmed bred, with a heifer calf (via fetal sexing by ultrasound) and due around October. Baby daddy is either Tank or Trigger, both fluffy mini bulls.
